The majority of his children died before him, most at a young age, including all six of his daughters. During the fight Tigra uses two wishes unknowingly and uses her final wish to banish the genie to a magic lamp, thus ending the story. The storyline was solid but I did weary of certain details being reiterated multiple times to different persons. As a side note, the only other book to ever mess with my mind that way, even though I have lots of favourite pot-boiling authors, was The Crying of Lot 49, without the same horror without the horror style of fear factor.
